  • The Outdated Résumé is the Fastest Way to NOT Get the Job

Everyone loves the resume wizards or templates offered all over the Internet. It's easy...just fill-in-the-blank !

Don't bother! You might as well throw the package away before you even mail it, if this is the route you’ve chosen.

If you are looking into a professional career, you need to have a Resume that matches your career goals. There are many reasons to avoid cookie-cutter resume programs Here are some:

    • You get what you give; that is, if you spend ten minutes filling out a resume template an employer will probably spend five or ten seconds looking over it before he tosses it into the wastebasket.

    • If you want to stand out in the crowd, your resume needs to stand out as well. You aren’t going to look like the best qualified prospect if your resume looks like a cut-and-paste 9th grade class assignment.

    • The suggested "phrases" (HA) that these services offer, and the layouts have been overused for YEARS! They look bland and dull and sub-standard to an employer. If you want a good income, you need a professional resume, maybe even one written by an expert.

Check out search engines to find a Resume Writer, or ask friends and associates for a referral. (I prefer the writers @ Employment911.com) The bottom line is this: if you really want the job, you should be willing to invest time and research it will take you to write a truly outstanding resume or the money to get a professional resume.

    Good Luck !

Today's employment market needs that you have a flawless resume. It has also being reported that many experienced job seekers are having a hard time even getting interviews at all. They send out their resume and never get any response. Even a small mistake in your resume can destroy your chances of getting a job interview. Therefore it is very important that your resume stand out from the crowd.
